Planning a kitchen is one of the most exciting (and sometimes daunting!) home projects you can take on. At STORI, we know that one of the trickiest decisions is choosing the perfect colour scheme. That’s why we’re here to make the process easier, especially if you’re dreaming of a soft, seasonal palette like pretty pastels.

The Soft Side of Style

There’s something fresh, timeless, and uplifting about pastel tones. Inspired by springtime, these shades bring a lightness to your space, ideal for creating a calm, welcoming kitchen.

Whether you want a pastel paradise or just a subtle nod to the trend, pastel colours like soft blues, gentle greens, and creamy off-whites are incredibly versatile. They pair beautifully with wood accents, brass hardware, and both modern and traditional cabinetry styles.

Our Favourite Pastel Shades

At STORI, our Standard Paint Palette includes 32 in-house colours, crafted by our expert team to suit any kitchen style. If you’re leaning into the pastel, here are a few of our favourite shades to get you started:

  • Pantry Blue – A delicate pastel blue that brings a sense of calm and clarity. It’s ideal for creating a light and airy kitchen.
  • Sage Green – Earthy and soothing, this gentle green gives a subtle nod to nature and looks stunning in both classic and contemporary designs.
  • Porcelain – A timeless off-white that brings warmth and elegance. It works beautifully as a base colour, especially when combined with other pastel shades or deeper tones for contrast.

Make It Your Own with our Colour Match Service

Love pastels but have something ultra-specific in mind? No problem! With our bespoke Colour Match Service, you don’t have to compromise on your dream colour.

Whether you’ve spotted the perfect hue from a well-known paint brand or found inspiration in a fabric swatch, we can match any RAL or BS colour standard to bring your vision to life. This means you can customise your kitchen with a unique pastel tone that’s just right for your space.

How It Works:

  1. Share your RAL or BS code with your chosen STORI retailer.
  2. Our in-house paint experts will produce an A4 sample of your custom colour.
  3. Once approved, we’ll start production on your made-to-order kitchen.

A quick note: Because Colour Matched products are bespoke, changes can’t be made once the colour has been approved—so make sure it’s love at first sight!
