This time, they have completed a beautiful project for a family in the delightful seaside village of Castlerock.

When first imagining their dream kitchen, the family had a distinct contemporary style in mind with a love of German kitchen design, dark, rich tones and natural, wood grain textures ticking all the boxes. EXORNA brought this vision to life through the STORI Tavola range.

With a deep Hacienda Black stain and natural woodgrain finish, the luxurious texture of the wood grain elevates the sleek slab doors, infusing the open-plan space with a sense of bold, contemporary elegance. The light, neutral tones of the walls, ceiling, and flooring create a sense of openness in this stunning kitchen, beautifully balancing the bold, darker cabinetry. This thoughtful contrast enhances the space, achieving a harmonious and striking look in this Real Kitchen project.

The combination of marbled worktops and a refined backsplash add a touch of beauty and luxury to the space, with their rich intricate woven patterns. In addition, the use of full-length, handleless wall cabinetry achieves a clean, sleek appearance that seamlessly ties the entire kitchen together.

Colour balance is key in this contemporary kitchen, with touches of warmth and character creating a welcoming vibe. Eclectic plants, both large and small, brighten the floors and worktops, complementing the stunning natural views through the glass walls and sleek rectangular windows. A chic, stemmed light fixture with black frosted glass oval shades hangs above the island, its black stems echoing the lines of the worktop, as well as the branches of the indoor plants.

From the black Quooker tap and matching hand soap dispensers to the assortment of ceramic fruit bowls and plant pots, every detail has been thoughtfully curated – from the lines of the woodgrain to the carefully placed fixtures and accessories.

Blending aesthetics with practicality, this family kitchen has been expertly designed to suit their unique lifestyle. Featuring Siemens StudioLine appliances, this space is kitted out with a host of high-end Siemens products that embody luxury and innovation. The induction hob seamlessly integrates with the countertop, creating a sleek, linear look, that perfectly complements the cabinetry’s minimalist slab style.

A standout feature of this kitchen is the incredible 3.1m long island, which takes centre stage, surrounded by five raised bar stools with matching black and grey upholstery. This expansive island provides the ideal spot for family dining and entertainment with picturesque views and natural light from the adjacent rectangular windows.

A Kitchen That Welcomes All

What truly stands out in this fabulous kitchen is the careful attention to its social aspects. The standout feature? An integrated wine cooler with a custom framed door, offering ample space to store the homeowners wine collection and glassware, complete with 10 backlit internal rack shelves.

On the opposite side of the island, a full-size drinks cabinet with bi-folding doors opens to reveal more of the homeowner’s impressive drinks collection. The mix of built-in internal shelving is perfect for storing taller bottles, which the hanging glass rack and additional overhead storage offer ample space for a variety of glassware. LED strip lighting highlights the internal shelving, creating a warm, luxurious glow as the light reflects of the colourful bottles and glasses on display.
