After moving into a new home with an outdated kitchen, the clients wanted to modernise the space and tailor it to their needs. A much-wanted island was carefully incorporated despite the compact layout, alongside raised ovens, a larder-height wine rack, illuminated breakfast cupboard and practical pull-out bin storage.

This thoughtfully designed kitchen was created to support the assisted living needs of a wheelchair user without compromising on style. Extra-wide walkways, deeper accessible workspaces and a dining area designed for comfortable access ensure the space is both practical and welcoming, giving the family a kitchen that truly works for everyone.

The aim of this project was to seamlessly unite two previously separate rooms into one welcoming, open-plan living space. By removing a dividing wall, we created a brighter, more connected environment that encourages conversation, making family time and entertaining effortless, and bringing sociable evenings back to the heart of the home.
